where we
come from

Every name has a body. Here's the one behind ours — and why it rolls off the tongue the way it does.

01 — the root

livius

Latin · beloved / envy

The Latin Livius, meaning 'beloved' — or, depending who you ask, 'envy'. Either way, a name people want to say.

02 — the body

labia

the structural muse

Our true inspiration is structural: a phonetic play on the labia — the soft, protective, deeply sensitive contours of the body. We took those liquid curves and let them shape the sound.

03 — the cadence

v × v

vibration · vividness

Then we wove in the double-V cadence of Vibration and Vividness — the buzz and the brightness — until the whole thing hummed.

labia + v·v = livia
the full story

Livia finds its roots in the Latin word Livius — meaning 'envy' or 'beloved' — but our true inspiration is structural. The name was born out of a phonetic play on the labia: the soft, protective, and deeply sensitive contours of the body.

By taking the natural, liquid curves of that word and weaving in the double-V cadence of Vibration and Vividness, we created Livia.

"a name that felt as smooth rolling off the tongue as our objects feel against the skin."

Livia stands as a modern homage to the body — a name that sounds less like a traditional adult shop and more like an intentional space dedicated entirely to pleasure. For every body, with nothing to be shy about.
